Skylum has released the first update to it’s newest product Luminar AI. This is a free update and will be released to the public on January 25th, 2021. There is a soft roll out in progress so a limited number of users may see the update sooner. There are a few new things, some changes to a few of the panels and 111 bug fixes in this release.

Hello, Joseph… thanks for the Luminar AI info-video. I appreciate it. So, I’m assuming that you’re on a Windows machine? As an early purchaser of AI (Insider?) I received an email today re: the update and, after waiting the 51 seconds for AI to launch, found that there were no updates available. Yet anyway. I’m a big fan of Luminar 4 which launches in just under 8 seconds. My hope is that the update solves the excruciatingly long launch for us Mojave 10.14.6 users on the Mac side. If you have any info on this, I’d appreciate hearing from you. Thanks very much. Brad.
There was no mention of speed improvements – however, I can tell you on my Macbook Luminar AI opens in just about 10 seconds. I have heard from others that they are having the same issues you are having. The update gets pushed out to everyone on January 25th so hang in there. You will get it!
Thanks, Joe. I’ve no interest in moving beyond Mojave as I have some 32-bit programs that I’d like to keep using. Hopefully, things will perk up on the 25th. Thanks again for the timely information and update.
