The EVF or Electronic View Finder in your Nikon mirrorless camera is an amazing piece of technology. It can show you exactly what your picture is going to look like before you take it. You are able to see the exposure, focus, and depth of field right there in the EVF.
But what most people don’t know is that the EVF may be lying to you. The depth of field that you see in your EVF cuts off at a particular f stop. And that f stop is lower than what you might think! Check out the video below to see when the EVF stops showing depth of filed accurately and how to compensate for that so you can always know exactly what is, and is not in focus.
