Behind the Scenes – Photographing NHL Ice Hockey

See what it is like to photograph an NHL game as a press photographer. I’ve included some basic tips in this video as well. This video is shot with a Go Pro Hero 3 mounted on top of my Nikon D3S camera. It was shot at the first NHL game ever played at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. This was a pre-season game in which the NJ Devils defeated the NY Islanders 3-0.
