Nikon Z 30 Review: Exceeds Expectations!

This is a great camera if you are in the market for something to shoot video for a YouTube channel or social media, family or home video, and it is surprisingly good for taking still photos as well.

Although this camera lacks a dedicated view finder, it makes up for it with a flip out and fully articulating 3 inch LDC screen. This makes taking pictures an experience similar to taking a photo with your cell phone.

Using an updated version of a 20.9 megapixel sensor used in both the D500 and D7500 the Nikon Z 30’s sensor adds BSI or backside illumination to push even better photo and video quality out of this sensor. Combined with Nikon’s newest EXPEED 6 processor you get 4K video at 30 fps as well as HD at up to 120 frames per second.
